Common issues
No invite email, Google sync errors and missing permissions.
Most snags in Ferio come down to one of three things: an invitation that never arrived, a Google Calendar connection that needs a nudge, or a permission a person simply does not have yet. Here is how to spot and fix each one. If none of these match, see Contact support.
No invitation email
A new user says they never got the email to set their password. First, ask them to check their spam or junk folder, and confirm the address on their profile is spelled correctly. Then open Settings > Users, find the person, and choose Resend invitation. This voids any old link and sends a fresh one, so only the newest email will work. The user must be active; a deactivated account cannot be invited until you reactivate it. For editing addresses and reactivating people, see Manage users.
Google Calendar sync errors
If connecting Google Calendar lands you back on your profile with an error, it is usually one of two things. Access denied means consent was cancelled on Google's screen; just start the connection again. Session mismatch means your Ferio sign-in expired partway through; sign in again, then reconnect. If leave is already connected but events look wrong or missing, open the Calendar tab on your profile and use Resync, which pushes every current approved request again. When in doubt, disconnect and reconnect: this clears the stored state and starts clean. Full steps are in Connect Google Calendar.
Missing permissions
A person who cannot open a page, or who gets bounced back to their dashboard, is missing the permission that page requires. In Ferio a user's access is the sum of every software role assigned to them, so the fix is to add the needed permission to one of their roles, or assign a role that already has it. An admin does this in Settings > Software roles. To build roles from individual permission nodes, see Software roles and permissions.
