Company settings
Work week, fiscal-year start, retroactive policy and logo.
Company settings hold the workspace-wide basics that most other rules build on: your company name and logo, which weekdays are working days, and where the fiscal year starts. Editing them needs the manage company settings permission.
Work week
The work week is the set of weekdays that count as working days for the whole workspace, for example Monday to Friday. Ferio uses it everywhere it counts working days: leave requests, entitlement proration, and the default weekly hours on a work schedule. Change it here and every downstream count follows.
Fiscal-year start
Set the month and day your fiscal year begins. A country profile whose leave year resets on the fiscal year anchors to this date, which is where entitlements roll over and proration windows are measured from. Profiles set to the calendar year or a custom reset date ignore it and use their own point instead.
Name and logo
Set the company name and upload a logo. The logo appears across the app and on the documents and emails Ferio sends, so a current logo keeps everything on brand.
Where other rules live
Some settings that feel company-wide are actually per country profile, so multi-country workspaces stay correct. Retroactive (past-dated) submission is one: it is turned on per profile, not here. See Set up country profiles for those, and Work schedules for per-person hours.
Every change here is written to the audit log with the old and new values, so you can always see who adjusted the work week or fiscal-year start, and when.
