Change your password
Update your password from your profile's security tab.
You can change your password any time from your profile. Ferio does not force periodic resets, so update it whenever you want a fresh one or think it may have been seen by someone else.
Change your password
Open your profile and find the Change password section. Fill in three fields and save:
- Current password: your existing password, to confirm it is really you.
- New password: at least 8 characters. It must be different from your current one.
- Confirm new password: type the new password again so a typo cannot lock you out.
If the current password is wrong, the new one is too short, the two new entries do not match, or you reuse the old password, Ferio explains which check failed and nothing is saved.
After you save
Your current session stays active, so you are not signed out and you do not need to log in again on this device. Ferio also sends a confirmation email to your address as a security notice. That notice always goes out and cannot be switched off in your notification preferences, so an unexpected one is your signal that someone changed the password.
Did not make the change? Reset your password again straight away and contact your workspace administrator.
