What is Ferio?
A quick tour of what Ferio does and who it is for.
Ferio is leave and absence management for teams. It keeps time-off requests, approvals, balances and calendars in one place, and applies the right rules for each country you operate in. Employees book leave in under a minute, approvers decide in one click, and balances stay correct on their own.
What Ferio does
The app is organised around a few areas that work together:
- Time off: leave requests, approvals and per-person balances, with quotas that reflect statutory entitlement. See Time off.
- Core HR: an employee directory, teams and leads, company roles, software roles and country profiles. See Core HR.
- Scheduling and calendars: a company calendar, team calendars and two-way calendar sync. See Scheduling.
- Reports and logs: usage reports, an editable leave log and a permanent audit trail. See Reports.
Who it is for
Employees request and track their own leave. Team leads see who is off and approve their team. HR admins configure the rules: country profiles, leave types, quotas, teams, roles and permissions. Everyone works from the same live balances, so there is no reconciling spreadsheets after the fact.
Built for multiple countries
Each person belongs to a country profile that carries its own holidays, entitlement rules and leave-counting logic. That lets one workspace serve teams in several countries without bending everyone to a single set of rules. For the detail, see Set up country profiles.
Where to start
The quickest way to see Ferio is to start a free trial, which creates a workspace with sample data. When you are ready to configure your own, work through the onboarding wizard.
