Welcome tour and quick-start guides

The first time anyone signs in, Ferio runs a short welcome tour and then points them at a Quick Start guide. The two together get a new person oriented in a couple of minutes, whether they own the workspace or just need to book their own leave.

The welcome tour

On first login you see a five-step animated tour built from real Ferio screens: requests, balances, the team calendar, calendar integrations and a dashboard preview. It runs on its own and hands you to the dashboard at the end. It shows once per person; after that you go straight to the dashboard.

Quick Start guides

Quick Start is a checklist that tracks what is left to do. There are two versions, matched to what you can do:

• For workspace owners and admins: setup grouped into Company setup, Leave rules, People, teams and permissions, Quotas and balances, Going live, and Advanced. Each task links straight to the screen it concerns.
• For everyone else: a personal guide covering requesting leave, the team calendar, connecting a personal calendar, uploading documents, and your notification and profile settings.

You mark tasks complete yourself. Quick Start is a guide, not a gate, so you can do the tasks in any order and skip what does not apply.

Finding it again

After the first visit, reopen Quick Start any time from the chip in the sidebar. Owners can use it to keep configuring; the admin tasks line up with the onboarding wizard, and employees can jump from theirs into Request time off.
