The company calendar
The org-wide view of who is out and when.
The company calendar is the workspace-wide view of who is out and when. It lays every active employee out as a row and each day as a column, so you can scan a single team or the whole company at a glance.
Open the company calendar
Open Calendar from the main navigation. You need the View all leave permission to see the workspace-wide version; team leads with a narrower scope get their own team's calendar instead. It opens on the current month. Switch between Week and Month with the view toggle, and step backward or forward with the arrows.
Read the grid
Each row is a person, grouped under their team with a small headcount next to the team name. Every day gets a column:
- Approved leave shows as a coloured block in the leave type's own colour.
- Pending requests show as an amber striped block, so awaiting-approval time stands out from confirmed time off.
- Public holidays are tinted and follow each person's country profile, so a Hungarian and a German colleague can show different holidays on the same date.
- Weekends are shaded and today's column is highlighted.
Click any leave block to jump straight to that request's detail page.
Filter and search
Narrow the view with the filter bar at the top. Filter by team, by leave type and by status (approved, pending, or both). Multi-country workspaces also get a country-profile filter. Type a name into the search box to find one person fast, and use Reset to clear everything back to the full company.
Capacity and printing
The row along the bottom counts how many people are off each day, with a full-time-equivalent figure beside it, so you can spot a thin day before it bites. The Print button lays the grid out in landscape and fits a full month onto one page.
To carry your own leave into a personal calendar app, see Connect Google Calendar or the iCal feed for Outlook and Apple.
