Your trial and removing sample data

Every new workspace starts as a free 7-day trial. No credit card is needed. Ferio fills the workspace with realistic sample data so you can click around every feature before you commit. When you are ready to run your real team, you clear that sample data and activate a subscription.

How the trial works

You get full access to every feature for 7 days. A banner at the top of the app counts down the days left. The seeded workspace ships with about two dozen sample employees, example leave requests, balances and invoices, all fictional. Nothing in the trial is billed, and you do not pick a plan until you activate. For the sign-up steps, see Start your free trial.

Remove the sample data

When you want a clean workspace, use Remove sample data from the trial banner. Ferio deletes the sample employees, their requests, balances, invoices and payment methods, and clears the seeded leave history from your own account. Your workspace settings, such as country profiles and leave types you kept using, stay in place. This cannot be undone.

The clear is surgical. Anything you created or edited yourself is kept; only rows the seed planted and you never touched are removed. If you assigned a real invitee to a sample team, that team is preserved so the assignment stays valid.

Activate your subscription

Choose Activate subscription to go live. This wipes any remaining trial data, then drops you back into the setup wizard from step one so you can configure the workspace for real. Pick your seat count and plan as part of activation. Once the trial expires the workspace locks until you activate, so your data is safe in the meantime.
