Cancel your subscription

How cancellation works and the 90-day data retention.

1 min read

You can end a Ferio subscription yourself from the Billing page. Cancellation is not instant: your workspace keeps working to the end of the cycle you have already paid for, and there is a window afterwards to change your mind or export your data before anything is deleted.

How to cancel

Open Billing, find End your Ferio subscription, and choose Cancel subscription. A confirmation dialog spells out what happens: access ends on your cycle-end date, all users lose access after that date, and your data is retained for 90 days then permanently deleted. Confirm with Yes, cancel subscription. An amber banner then shows the date the subscription ends.

What happens until the cycle ends

Nothing is switched off at the moment you cancel. The workspace stays fully usable through the end of the current billing cycle, and you are not charged again. If you change your mind, the banner has a link to reverse the cancellation any time before the end date, which puts you straight back onto your existing plan.

Cancelling is safe to reconsider. Reversing before the end date leaves your subscription exactly as it was, with no data lost and no new charge.

The 90-day retention window

Once the cycle closes, members lose access and the workspace is suspended. Your data is not deleted straight away: it is kept for 90 days. During that window you can reactivate by starting a subscription again, or reach support to export what you need. After 90 days the data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
